The ever-increasing demand for goods services has meant that over the years Vecon has increasingly specialized in accessory activities such as filling and emptying, lashing, handling of oversized loads. The terminal’s strong vocation to face new challenges and seize opportunities also materialized in 2020. In the midst of the pandemic, Vecon approved the project for the construction of a tensile structure within its customs spaces, allowing the terminal to expand its service. Now we can count on a 2000 square meters space for goods that require storage and handling and consolidation services in the covered area. In these days, after only two months of work, the activities are about to be completed and we are pleased to formalize its entry into operation by the month of May.
