Access in Terminal Vecon: useful informations
In the case of access to the ship and / or quay, please proceed as required by Ordinance no. 24 of 31/03/2010 of the Port Authority of the Coast Guard VENICE, while for access only for delivery of goods / materials destined for the ship without access to the ship or for general request for an appointment, proceed with the request on the LOGIS platform at the link:
Steps to follow:
- Click on “Want to request a permit?”
Enter a valid email address to receive the PIN code useful for requesting the permit - Enter the data of the request
- Enter the visitor’s data (with insertion of a copy of an identity document).
N.B.: to get to the Terminal, set the destination on the navigator – Via del Commercio.
Directions
By land
- A4 motorway from Milan
After the Venice – Mestre west tollbooth, take the first exit and follow the direction to Venice (port) for 3.5 km. Turn right towards the commercial port and continue for another 2.5 km.
- A4 motorway from Trieste
After the east exit of Venice – Mestre, continue along the highway towards Milan for 21 km. Take the exit towards Venice (Porto). Continue for 2.5 km and turn right towards the commercial port, continue for 2.5 km.
By sea
The Vecon terminal is located in the north of the Adriatic Sea, in the center of the Venice lagoon.
The access of ships to open sea takes place through the Malamocco-Marghera canal port.
By air
From the Venice airport (Venezia Tessera) or from the Venice / Mestre railway station, the port can be reached by taxi in about 20 minutes. Ask for the commercial port of Marghera, Vecon terminal.
